I’m Tyler Philp.
Pleased to Meet You.
Like most hockey loving kids my dream was to be in the NHL. Although I never quite made it to the NHL, I still enjoy playing for a local mens league team at the ripe age of 28.
While growing up, I have also always had a passion for animals. In school, I focused my efforts on becoming a Veterinarian. First I was a Veterinary Technician. Although I did not become a Veterinarian, I did find my calling in educating pet owners about great health care for their pets. I worked with an up and coming manufacturing company and travelled North America meeting store owners and pet parents of all different types. After 4 years of dealing more with business relations and negotiations than animals, I needed a change.
The catalyst for the shift in my career was my mom. Her hard fought battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease ended and I knew I needed to make some changes. My family needed to be a priority and being close to home was crucial. It was time to switch gears!
My wife and I always loved the idea of real estate investing; we found it intriguing and enticing. I always admired our family realtor who had recently retired. Her hard work and her attention to our family’s true needs was a skill I felt needed to be continued on in the industry. After some serious thought, I made the leap and became a Real Estate Agent.
I joined on with Century21 Infinity in Oshawa for their family feel atmosphere. With a devotion to honesty and integrity, I found a workplace that was in line with my values. I could not be happier with where I am today and my clients say it shows in my work. I am back to working with people on one of the most important financial and emotional decisions of their lives – their homes. I still dare to be different and every day at the office is different – I love that!
